Dr. Marvin Powell
The multivariate analysis seminar covers statistical approaches that involve the observation of more than one outcome variable at a time and dimension reduction/scale development. This seminar includes asynchronous materials to help you prepare for step-by-step statistical demonstrations in the synchronous session.
Marvin G. Powell, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Research Methods in the College of Education and Human Development at George Mason University. His research focuses on the development and validation of educational and psychological instruments using latent trait theories, while using critical theories (e.g., QuantCrit and CRQI) to address quantitative research questions. He teaches graduate level courses such as Item Response Theory, and Multivaraite Analyses.
